Inside story on Centennial Woolstore

It's the home of politicians, top public servants and a healthy smattering of top-drawer professions, and its grand opening ceremony took place on 13 December 1911 before a very large gathering of Brisbane's leading citizens.

Making a keynote speech was Frederick Winchcombe, co-founder of the famous Australia wool-broking firm of Winchcombe Carson Ltd.

Standing in Winchcombe's shoes for an afternoon will be Ben Pritchard, townplanner and residernt at this famous Teneriffe Woolstore. Ben and his wife Lisa were instrumental in planning WCW's recent centenary celebrations.

Come along on Saturday 26 November 2-4pm to hear Ben tell the inside story about what modern living is like in such a distinguished historic building.
