The society promotes an understanding of the history of the area and how it evolved from one of Brisbane's earliest settlements to the present. You can find us in our office, at the monthly meetings, or by contacting us directly.

Volunteer run.

Collector of oral histories.

This is important Society work. A compilation of these oral histories is available in the recently published book ‘Reflections on New Farm’.

Copies and recordings of oral histoires are available from the archives in our office.

All our monthly meetings include afternoon tea so that there is time to see old friends and make new ones or to share stories about living in the area.
